Information collected
When you use the quote calculator or submit a project request, you may provide your name, business name, email address, phone number, website address, selected features, project goals, budget range, desired timing, advertisement-footer preference, referral source, referral code, and other details you choose to share.
The hosting provider may automatically process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, referral source, and timestamps for security, performance, and basic traffic reporting.
Quote and status tracking
A submitted request receives a random tracking identifier and a private status link. The public tracker shows only a business name, project stage, completion estimate, estimated completion date, and a short public update. It does not expose contact details, private notes, proposal terms, or internal messages.
If you choose "Remember it" in the storage notice, this browser stores your calculator draft and tracking identifier so it can find the project again. If you continue without saving, the request still works, but the browser will not remember it. Keep the tracking link sent to your email.
The tracking link works like a private bearer link. Anyone who receives it may see the limited public status information, so do not post or forward it publicly.
How information is used

Service providers
Information may be processed by vendors needed to operate the business, such as website hosting, database and authentication, email delivery, cloud storage, analytics, payment, and accounting providers. These providers receive only the information reasonably needed for their role and operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
If a project requires a new third-party service, the proposal or setup process should identify it before client data is placed there.
Retention and security
Inquiry and project records are kept only as long as reasonably useful for responding, delivering work, maintaining records, resolving disputes, or meeting legal obligations. Inactive pre-client tracking records may be removed. Hosted client portal access normally remains available while hosting is active, and may be removed after reasonable notice when hosting and the business relationship have ended.
No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, but reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used. Do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, government identification numbers, medical records, or other highly sensitive information through the inquiry form, tracker, or normal project messages.
Your choices
You may ask to review, correct, or delete personal information held by Show Me Web Design, subject to records that must be retained for legal, security, contractual, or legitimate business reasons.
You can change the local-storage choice from the privacy controls shown by the website. Clearing browser storage removes the remembered calculator and tracking identifiers from that browser, but it does not delete the submitted business record. Contact Show Me Web Design to request deletion of the underlying record.
